Taroko Gorge National Park in Taiwan is one of those places everyone should have on their bucket list, It is an incredible place to see. However most people tend to only drive through and only ever see it from road level... some of the best vantage points are from up high, and this includes hiking. The Hunters Trail is a hike of about 2to 3 hours and you need to be fit for this, but if you take your time and some water, you'll be rewarded with stunning views and quite an adrenaline rush when you get to the top.

Located in the south of #Taiwan, #Kenting isn't a place where I visit often as it is approximately 3.5 hours away with both the high speed rail and the local bus. I decided that with Kevin in town, I'd have to take him once out of the city of Taipei. The semi-private beach at the hotel is definitely the most beautiful one I've seen on this island. Listening to the waves hitting the shore makes the long commute all worthwhile. Honestly, if I had a chance to live by the water, I'd jump on the opportunity without a doubt. A special appreciation to my friend Doris and her boyfriend Kelvin for the company. http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Besides the usual tourist stops shown in this video, it is possible to hike the many trails inside. We stood with hundreds of mainland China visitors and admired this scenic area with giant pieces of coral which contrasted with lava rocks, sea plants and trees, and a beautiful lighthouse until we couldn't take the crowds anymore. White Sand Bay in Kenting town is where most visitors stay. A lively place filled with guesthouses, small B&Bs, two luxury resorts, many restaurants. Marine and I fully intended on taking some walks in the National Park but when faced with extreme humidity and heat, our resolve crumbles. Let me know how the hiking goes if you have the energy.

Several national parks have been established since 1982 and the natural and cultural resources of Taiwan have been preserved through them. These national parks also provide an educational environment for people to learn in. Taiwan is a natural, pristine and majestic green land full of life. The protection of national parks quarantees that the beauty of Taiwan. "Ilha Formosa," can be passed down to future generations.

The young park, according to Kevin Lin, GM of EDA Development Co., was brought into existence with two foundation ideas in mind: to serve as a benchmark model of international standards and sophistication for Taiwan’s rebranding Kaohsiung/Tainan region, and to provide a destination for families, with all members’ wide-ranging needs and desires catered to. The theme-park area has rides, games, and all sorts of other entertainment. The adjoining mall has scores of upscale brand-name outlets and a moderately-priced youth-oriented section. The large upscale hotel has numerous superb restaurants, spa facilities, and many other attractions. There’s also a baseball driving range, a golf range, and many other recreational facilities. We spent our afternoon (give yourself a full day if at all possible) riding the giant rooftop ferris wheel, thrilling 55-meter-high rollercoaster, and scenic monorail, enjoying a skate on the mall’s ice rink, watching the Halloween-theme parade and show with players costumed, incongruously, a la Mad Max and The Nutcracker, snacking way too much … and much, much else that I just don’t have time to tell you about."

The only reported death so far is a 20-year-old woman who was taken off of life support on Monday after suffering second degree burns to 90 percent of her body. In the aftermath of the explosion, colored powder has been banned from parties. Doctors are worried that some partygoers inhaled the powder, which may eventually cause respiratory problems. Skin grafts are being sent from around Taiwan to assist with the large number of burn victims at Mackay Memorial Hospital in Taipei. The water park has subsequently closed out of respect for the victims, while an investigation is ongoing. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. They both tasted good. The noodles, though, has an interesting texture. Felt like a tongue cleaner. 05:05 A trip to Da'an Park. It's a great park, especially to take a run around. 6:10 An interesting place where you walk along the rocks with your bare feet, or at least with socks on, and you feel the pain of the rocks. Not exactly sure what the purpose is for, perhaps to make your feet stronger. lol. 08:30 YongKang St is pretty known for its variety of foods. It's right next to Dongmen station and is the location for quite a number of popular shops, including 度小月擔仔麵 (a noodle shop), Hao Chi, Kao Chi Restaurant (高記) and also home to the original location for Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐). But I personally came here for 好公道金雞園 (don't know the English name). It's a local place that also serves xiaolongbao. I was interested in trying xiaolongbao from a place that was local rather than a famous go-to spot as Din Tai Fung. As for which I like better? It's tough to say. I enjoy the fact that 好公道金雞園 xiaolongbao's are much bigger, thus the experience is that much greater, but it's not light and "jiggly" as Din Tai Fung's. Both are great, though. It's location is: No. 28-1, Yongkang Street, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106 12:30 Going to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall is probably my favorite sighting in Taipei. Simply because of the detailed architecture, the two palaces, the arch, and the Memorial Hall all in one spot. In addition to its wide space. Spectacular. 15:56 Preview of the next episode: Day 3 of the Travel Taiwan Series ---- Camera Equipment: 📷Main camera & lens: http://amzn.to/2iqbLyz ✈️ The rest of the travel resources I use: http://bit.ly/travel_resources (*Some links are affiliate links) ----- ABOUT: My name is Lindo Korchi and this channel is about storytelling via video, specifically detailed travel. Some of the exciting rides in Leofoo village theme Park ((六福村)) in Taiwan - we always have fun when we go there. Exciting rides start from about 5 minutes in. Enjoy. There are many more rides there but some of them we didn't record. There are rides for kids of all ages, from the smallest to the biggest. Going to Leofoo with kids is always fun and they always enjoy.

Vlog #8: 11 April 2016, Monday • Leofoo animal cage ride Started our adventure in Leofoo with the thrilling animal cage ride! We were pretty damn up-close (less than 2m from them) with the bears, baboons and tigers. It was also quite an educational ride thanks to the really nice tour lady, who was also really brave to personally feed those animals and made sure we all had an exceptional experience for the ride. • Leofoo theme park My favourite ride was definitely the screaming condor (I wanted to take it for the second time!) and the pagoda's revenge. Hated anything that turned me upside down - it's not even scary, it's just hella uncomfortable!!!! Especially the Old Oil Well.... You'll see why we almost died there. Other than the rides, there were also some that were much more relaxing, touring us around the area and we saw even more animals doing their own thang, making it an eye-opening experience! • Leofoo Hotel We had a panoramic view of the animals from the entrance of the hotel and the lemurs were all free to run around! We're allowed to pet them, feed them and even take a selfie! Hahaha they were really fascinating, not forgetting cuuuuute!!! The buffet dinner and breakfast (miss the baked potato so much) was da bomb too. Yup that's about it. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any!

Travel Taiwan Taroko Gorge National Park 2017 My solo road trip through Taiwan's beautiful east coast, where we will visit Taroko National Park, a Natural Hot Spring, and hiking Sanxiantai. The nature is breath taking on the coast of Taiwan's with many places to surround yourself in nature, food, and indigenous tribal people. I drove from Hualien to Taitung. The hot spring was one of the most incredible natural places I've ever visited with a perfect atmosphere surrounded by nature. I also included the location of the hot spring at the end of the video on a map. Taroko National Park was jaw dropping with the marble canyons. I fell in love with this place, and hope you will make it there too.

Taiwan, with its rich and varied terrain and complex ecosystem is natural masterpiece.
